Terrarium Hide for Leopard Geckos

Created this terrarium hide circa 2016-2017 for our two leopard geckos.

Form was made roughly out of paper and tape, then covered with multiple layers of stucco. Airbrushed with various colors to get desired look, then covered with non-toxic water-bases sealer.

Wish I had more pictures, but I made this fairly quickly and on a whim.

I actually really liked how this hide turned out. It had a great rocky texture that held together (it didn’t crumble apart thanks to the sealer). It had a hole at the top that crickets would enter/exit from, and an arch that the geckos would crawl through and hide under. It also kept up remarkably well in the terrarium with the heat lamps.

It lasted a few years until my son decided to rearrange the terrarium and leave it outside. Lost to weather damage… 🙁
